 JQStyle Shutting Down?
Hey guys… I'm having money issues and computer issues right now. So, unless I can come up with quite a bit of money in the next few weeks JQStyle could possibly shut down. Bad timing considering the comic and flash videos and other special things I'm working on right now. Anyway, I just wanted to make this known so that it's not secretive. In the next few weeks I have to put the money together to buy a new computer. This one is about completely dead. It takes me 20 minutes to login… *sigh* Anyway, if I don't get the money together for a new computer than the site is going to have to shut down. Because I won't be able to pay the server or update anything… Basically it would be up for a month without a web-mistress then the server would delete it for no payment.
So, out of an act of desperation I'm asking anyone who goes to the site… If you have ever thought of donating, it would be highly appreciated if you'd do it now.
Everyone that donates is going to get a TON of points, depending on how much they donate. Probably 10X the amount they donate. And maybe some giveaways that were supposed to be for prize gifts. I'm not completely sure yet. Anyway, anyone that can help… I will love you forever.

 New Exclusive Jonny Quest Comic's and Flash Videos.
JQStyle will be exclusively be doing a set of Jonny Quest themed comics and flash videos at the beginning of the new year.
The comics, beginning in January 2005, will begin as a monthly online comic book. Consisting of 10 to 15 Pages per month. The comic's will be true to the series, but with more of a modern twist. Their clothes, for example, will stay true to their classic clothes to an extent. Jonny's black t-shirt and blue jeans will still be in tact, but in a more modern form. The same goes with the classic red-shirted Race Bannon. Dr. Quest will be wearing nice suits, but will lighten it up a bit when he's at home. In the series they never really showed a casual side to him, the comic's definitely will be showing that side of him. As a sigh of relief to all Jonny Quest fans, Jessie will be dressing more realistically. And there will be NO pink jump suits.
The first issue of the comic will be online in January 2005, but some of the character sketches will be out within the next week or two. So, you will have an idea of what the art will look like.
The comic's art itself will be very true to the series and be a very comic style. But, every month there will be a "cover art" which will be a full out 3D artwork that goes along with the comic itself.
The first submission of comic's is currently being written. It doesn't involve your common villains (Surd, Rage, and Zin), but is instead a story involving a pyramid in Egypt. That's all the details that can currently be given, but so far the story is proving to be a pretty interesting one. All characters will be involved in this one, including Estella (Jessie's mom).
The flash videos will not be coming out until later this year, probably towards the end of the summer. The reason behind this is placing and equipment. But, when they come out they are expected to be monthly episodes, plus some extra little ones just for fun or humor purposes.
Andrea Crouse (the web mistress of JQStyle) will not be the only artist in this event. Professional artist, Jessica "Vize" Perry will draw the art for both the comic's and flashes. The comic book's will then be colored, organized, and given text by Andrea. The original pictures for the flashes will be drawn by Jessica and, then re-drawn and colored in flash and animated by Andrea. This is a group effort and with both of their talents working so well together, will prove to be a great success.

 Hey, I'm sorry about the lack of updates. I've been so uninspired lately. I have been doing a lot of work on screen caps and some other little things.. I promise that I will give you a nice list of updates here before the weekend's over.. I'll hopefully get it up tomorrow. I've just been so uninspired lately... The site just seems like dead weight, I guess....
Anyway, to all the American visitors.. Happy Thanksgiving. :)

 Hello everyone! I finally changed the layout; the other one kind of looked like someone threw up on it in my opinion. But, no matter, it's gone now! :)
Before moving on, I do have to say something about the thing that happened a few days ago. To anyone involved or who witnessed it, or even anyone that just heard about it; I apologize that you had to hear about it, now lets just move on. I have no bad feelings towards anyone involved and we have worked everything out. But, we will be a little harsher on fighting rules, I think that's expected, though. Nala and Jonny, I have no problem with either of you participating in any other contests, no hard feelings. Jonny, I'm glad we could work things out. Anyone who hasn't heard about it, please do not e-mail me asking about it, I've had a lot of people do that. We're going to forget it now, okay?
The fan art contest voting is up and the winner will be announced on the 1st, thank you to all the participants; Your art looks great and you're all doing well. Everyone who has voted, I appreciate your votes.
I am going to get some more work done this week. I'm trying to fix all of the layouts to look almost exactly the same (look at Characters, Information, Fan Art and Fan fiction) and load faster for our members on slower connections. After I get all of that done, I will be bringing back the Pictures section with more pictures and full galleries, and the rest of the sections that are not currently opened. Also, I deleted a few sections and I'm currently moving the "multimedia" section into the "exclusives" section, since they're all exclusives anyway.

Hey everyone! I apologize about the week or so without updates, I had some family visiting, so I couldn't really update much. There are some updates for you now, though. :o)
Anyone with any fan art online: There are a couple days left for you to get your entries into the Contest! Be sure to get them in before the 20th. Voting will start as soon as I get on the computer on October 20. The winner will be announced on November 1st. So, get those entries in, you only have a couple days! For this months entry you can submit any fan art that has a JQ character in it. Thanks for everyone who has entered so far, your art looks great!

Hey everyone! The site is *finally* back open. I am so sorry about how long it took. I didn't have any idea that so many things would have come up or I never would have gone on hiatus. It has been really crazy. I have been sick 3 times, once pretty seriously, dealt with 2 hurricanes, had to deal with the after math of that twice, and I actually had to re-build my computer… Things have just been crazy around here. I'm really sorry about how long it took and everything, but now it's open, so lets all just be happy. lol.
Okay, there are a lot of major updates you will notice. The one most people will probably notice right away is the way the site looks. All of the layouts are different, but very similar. I think I'm going to play around with that a bit more in the next few weeks, but I do like that everything now matches. Also, almost every section has some new content for you to look at.
We have a large Fan Art Contest going on right now. You can go enter here. If you have some fan art online, you should consider joining in. The more that people enter the better.
We are also doing a Joined Fic in the Fan Fiction section of this website. All you need to qualify is to be signed up as an author of this website. It's going to be a lot of fun.
We do now have a semi-working Guestbook. But, it's a free one and I've noticed that it isn't working a lot of the time, so I will probably change it in a few days. I'm having some issues with my cgi-bin, so I'm relying on free off-server guestbooks, which is really annoying to me. But, if you get a chance, go ahead and sign it, it'd mean a lot to me.
Also, the "Picture" part of this website will not be working until I get the chance to buy more web space. It'll hopefully only be a few weeks. I'm looking for a job right now.
